Quick Utah Trip

This past Thursday we took a quick trip down to Utah to pick up a lawn mower, and see family. (The full acre of grass has finally proved too overwhelming a job for our poor little manual push mower. It was taking Brandon close to 4 hours a week to mow this sucker. Hopefully it's replacement will be a little better.)
Brandon's Mom and sisters were staying at his Grandpa's house, so we got to spend a little time with them. Averie really had fun with her little cousin, Case. Mason and Ellorie played outside nearly the entire time. Friday we went swimming at this really great pool in Lehi. No pictures unfortunately, but we had a great time.

Before we left on Saturday we stopped in to see Grandma and Grandpa Clegg. We definitely don't get to see them enough.

Ellorie and Averie were enchanted with kitty "Sugar". She gave Averie a couple of kisses before deciding enough was enough. Poor kitty.
The French bulldog "Dulci" grandma was puppy sitting, was also a big hit.

Ellorie loved asking her to do tricks.

Ellorie and Mason also got a kick out of Grandpa's mad, mad harmonica skills. Ellorie thought it was the coolest thing she had ever seen. She was giggling the first time she blew on it. Grandpa actually gave them one to practice, and it's a big hit. They entertained us on the drive home...

Sorry we didn't get to see everyone. It was a really impulsive, short trip. I'm planning on spending a week down there visiting everyone later this summer. Probably August.

What a fun quick trip! The trip home accompanied by harmonica music must've been the highlight. LOL

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the picture of Averie kissing Sugar the cat. It is a priceless photo. In fact, even Mike agreed that it is darling (although he didn't use the word "darling").

What a busy trip!! Sometimes I think the quick trips are the best - just enough to get away, but not get too far behind! Glad you guys got a new mower. That'll be SO nice!!!
