Around here...

Thought I would give a little update of the happenings around the house. Nothing thrilling or monumental to report, but we certainly are not lacking for entertainment.

Mason and Ellorie are the best of friends and play imagination games non-stop. They are kind enough to include Averie most of the time. Sometimes the quick shifts between games are impossible to keep up with.

Sunday they went from playing-

Harry Potter ( I know this because I found several copies of Tom Riddle's diary in the basement.)
to Sonic (heard the word bounced around a lot)

to "super spies" (photographic evidence)

to dog trainers (photographic evidence, and an extreme amount of barking and other dog noises.)

to wild ocean sea animals (Surprisingly entertaining. Should have video taped it.)
in the matter of probably twenty minutes. Those lobsters and jelly fish were mighty noisy too!

Constant safety/noise reminders around our house include (but are not limited to),

"PLEASE stop pounding on the floor!" (The horses, dogs, and other wildlife around here like to pound on the floor for some reason.),

"Neigh more quietly so you don't wake up Rylan.",

"Get off the counter/table/piano/furniture, please. You're going to break your head open.",

"No loud barking in the house." (the children, not the dog.)

Rylan is tremendously entertained by the constant commotion. He giggles and laughs at them and tries desperately to get their attention. Mason and Ellorie take a greater interest in the little guy now that he is more "interactive." Mason can get him to giggle and giggle at funny noises, and Ellorie is super at making him smile.

Momma can't wait for warmer weather so all the wild animals can move outside occasionally!

(Not that we don't love them. We do.)
