The Tiny Travelers

A good part of our Florida vacation included lots of traveling. Airports and airplanes, hotels and condos. Suitcases, backpacks and bags. The kids were troopers. They were on their best behavior and surprisingly patient with all the waiting, layovers, delays, etc. They were so excited to get to our destination.

Averie insisted on carrying her own backpack and suitcase through all the airports. She probably walked a couple miles with all that stuff. I was repeatedly relieved that we decided to leave Rylan home with grandma. It would have been a nightmare trip with a baby in tow.

In one week the kids boarded 6 different planes. Because there were 5 of us, we were somewhat separated for most of our flights. The kids handled it just fine. By the end of our trip they were real pros. Total jet setters.
What a world we live in!

They are darling little jet setters! And on a related note, what happened to Mason?! His picture on the sidebar looks like a total grown up! Is he signing yearbooks this year? Driving to school? OLD.
